• DB Berdan does not accept rabbit hair, including angora rabbit hair.
• DB Berdan only accept hair from living and domesticated animals including cow and sheep.
• DB Berdan does not allow hair from animals reared in cages for their hair or fur.
• No vulnerable or endangered species must be used.

Wool

• DB Berdan does not accept mulesing.

Fur

• DB Berdan does not accept real fur including Mongolian lambs fur or rabbit hair (including angora)

Down and feathers

• DB Berdan does not accept down or feathers.
• No vulnerable or endangered species must be used.

Leather

• DB Berdan only accept products made of leather from cow, sheep, goat, fish or pig that have been bred for meat production.
• DB Berdan does not accept leather from aborted animals, including but not limited to slink, karakul, astrakhan, broadtail, persian lamb, swakara or krimmer.

Exotic skin

• DB Berdan does not accept real exotic animal skins, including but not limited to; snake, alligator, crocodile and lizard.

Silk

• DB Berdan does not accept silk.

Mohair and chashmere

• DB Berdan does not accept mohair and chashmere.

Accesories

• DB Berdan does not accept bone, horn, shell (including mother of pearl) and teeth.
